The show will air on Sunday mornings on RTÉ Radio 1.

Second Captains are set to launch a new show on RTÉ Radio 1 from Sunday 10 July. Second Captains Sunday will combine music, chat and in-depth interviews and will be presented by Eoin McDevitt, Ken Early and Ciaran Murphy. According to Hot Press, the show 'will pick apart the week’s main events from popular culture, current affairs and topical stories with the help of a guest from the world of comedy, acting, journalism, music or politics.' Another section called This Sporting Life will see guests talk about how sport has impacted on them from an early age.
