After the huge success of our UEFA Champions League meme competition we decided to move it up a notch for the semi-final stages.
Now we need you to recreate your favourite UEFA Champions League moment, in Vine form, and if it impresses us enough, you’ll be on your way.
Vine allows you to record six seconds of footage on your phone. You can fit it all into one six-second bit of cinematic genius or you can use the stop and go function and make a masterpiece that Christopher Nolan would be proud of.
For ‘inspiration’ here’s two of our efforts, which we have helpfully titled so you know what they are. We’re sure you can do better than this.

So, here’ s what you have to do.
1. Download the Vine App from the App Store
2. Record your own version of an iconic UEFA Champions League moment on your phone. Be as creative as you want. The more creative, the better chance of winning.
3. Send it to [email protected]
4. The competition is open from today, April 18 for seven days until April 26th at 12pm.
5. The prize is an all-expenses paid trip to Madrid to watch the 2nd leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final with Borussia Dortmund.
If you’re struggling for moments to recreate, how about the epic finish of the 1999 final, Ronaldinho’s majestic goal against Chelsea or the wild scenes after Jerzy Dudek saved that Shevchenko penalty in Istanbul in 2005.
