There will be 30 live UFC events shown on ESPN this year after Setanta Ireland have agreed a package with BT Sports
There will be a whole host of UFC events to watch on the Setanta Ireland package starting from August as they have agreed a deal with BT Sports to show all the related content.
Describing it as a “game changer” for the station, Brian Quinn, the Marketing Director of Setanta said that the package “will also include all associated UFC shows such as the Ultimate Fighter, weigh-ins and the Road to the Octagon. The Setanta pack will be the only place to see the likes of Anderson Silva, Georges St-Pierre and Jose Aldo”.
If you sign up now, you’ll be in time for the UFC card in Boston, which will feature our own Conor McGregor taking on Andy Ogle in front of what will be a huge crowd in the TD Garden in Boston.
Apart from that, there are rumours that there will be a larger number of UK and Ireland events with this new deal for extended coverage, and you can also catch a whole host of other sports including Premier League games, Aviva Premiership rugby, and Allianz League GAA amongst others.
