What a moment for Shamrock Rovers.
Trailing AIK by 1-0 coming into the second leg in Sweden, Rovers needed something big to give their fans hope.
That moment came after 18 minutes, when Daniel Carr side-footed home a chance from a corner, and sent the small pack of travelling Rovers fans into a frenzy.
eir Sport has uploaded footage of the goal, and Shamrock Rovers have shared video of the players celebrating with the fans.

The game currently sits at 1-1 on aggregate as the second half wears on. If it stays as it is, it’ll go to extra-time. This is the first round of qualifiers for the Europa League. Rovers are playing AIK, who finished second in the Swedish league last season, and currently sit top of the league this season.
Shamrock Rovers finished third in the League of Ireland last year, and are currently in fourth place.
Derry City were disappointed against Dinamo Minsk earlier today, when a 2-1 away win wasn’t enough to send them through to the next round of fixtures — they crashed out, losing 3-2 on aggregate.
