Should Jonjo Shelvey and Raheem Sterling both have been sent off for these violent actions?

The big pair of eejits…

After being recently told to “wise up” by his manager Garry Monk, Swansea midfielder Jonjo Shelvey has only just gone and done something very silly tonight.

Following on from Alberto Moreno’s deserved opener for Liverpool, Shelvey was attempting to take on Emre Can in the Reds’ penalty area when he appeared to swing his arm and make contact with the German player’s face.

It certainly wasn’t as bad as Papiss Cisse’s elbow on Seamus Coleman yesterday, but both Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville reckon it was a definite red card offence, but what do you think?

A moment of madness from the ill-disciplined midfielder…

The match has since gone completely lalaloola bonkers as Liverpool raced into a 4-1 lead, but young Raheem Sterling also got away with this nasty swing in the second half…

The Reds finished the game with a 4-1 victory and you can chek out all of the action by clicking here.
