Stoke City’s Brek Shea posts the most ‘Murican picture ever to Instagram

It was quickly deleted but after this and the pig’s head, it might be time for Shea to step away from social networking.
When you are better known for your social media mistakes than your football, something has gone horribly wrong. Brek Shea, the American winger bought by Tony Pulis in January, hasn’t had a great time in the Premier League. Injury has restricted him to just two appearances so far for Stoke and with Pulis gone, who knows if Mark Hughes fancies playing a 6’3” winger very often. Anyway, up to now Shea is probably best known for being the guy that posted the pig’s head picture that alerted the world to Stoke’s post-season ‘pranks’ that so enraged Kenwyne Jones. Yesterday Shea was at it again, posting this very American picture on Instagram yesterday. After a fair bit of grief from non-gun loving Stoke fans he took it down pretty sharpish.
We suspect Hughes won’t see the funny side of it either...
