OK, JOE understands that the walk-on to any sporting event is critical for revving up players and fans alike, but what ever happened to the old-fashioned sprinting onto the pitch to the cheers of the adoring crowd?
American college side Eastern Michigan took things to a new level last weekend when they had to knock down a six-foot tall brick wall before they could go onto the pitch.
It took them over 20 belts with sledgehammers to bash down the stubborn wall and the whole incident became a bit of a farce… as if it wasn’t already to begin with.
We know that there are some strange eggs in the American football world, just have a look at this bizarre T-Rex celebration, but JOE has to say that we have never seen anything like this entrance before.
