With the sad news that all of the League of Ireland clubs have crashed out of Europe, the race to qualify for next seasons Europa League resumes again.

The draw for the next round for the FAI Cup has been made and there are some absolutely cracking ties on offer.

The pick of the games has to be the joint league leaders Cork City v Bohemians at Turners Cross.

24 times cup winners Shamrock Rovers face a potential banana skin when they host First Division leaders Longford Town at Tallaght.

There is a mouth watering Dublin derby on offer at Inchicore when league champions St Patrick’s Athletic play host to Shelbourne while current league leaders Dundalk entertain Galway at Oriel Park.

The hosts Sligo Rovers are already out so there is one thing that’s certain, there will be a new name on the cup.
