The FAI have confirmed a pre-Euros friendly at Turner’s Cross in May

A change of scenery for the Ireland team.

Ireland edged out Switzerland in a tough clash on Good Friday and they’ll face off against Slovakia tomorrow, but by the time May 31 rolls around we’ll be down to the serious business and preparing for this summer’s Euros.

The FAI confirmed today that Ireland will play Belarus on May 31, in the first ever match between the two sides.

The game will take place in Cork, four days after Ireland’s game with the Netherlands. By that time, we should have a much clearer idea of what to expect from the boys in green once the real action starts in France.
