We might see a flood of overseas visitors at Croke Park over the next few weeks, if they can get tickets…

As spotted by the folks at the Irish Examiner, National Geographic have posted an article about things to do in Ireland this autumn and top of the list is go to one of the GAA’s showpiece events.

The magazine lists ‘Attend a Sports Championship’ as the number one thing to do in Ireland right now and they go on to say that ‘attending an All-Ireland is the experience of a lifetime’. They do warn potential visitors to plan ahead as the games usually sell out.

They also recommend that you take a tour of HQ and that you do the Skyline walk along the roof. In short, they can’t say enough good things about the lads at Jones’ Road.

Other places to get a shout out in the National geographic piece include Glasnevin Cemetry, traditional music in Clare, ghost hunting in Belfast and the Samhain Winter Garden in Rosscahill in Galway.
