Ahead of the big kick-off this weekend, the JOE lads preview each Pool and predict the weekend’s fixtures.

With Jerry Flannery and Malcolm O’Kelly both tending to Fla’s magnificent new moustache, it was left up to Sean Nolan, Conor Heneghan and Declan Whooley to hold the fort for the first Hard Yards pod of the season.

In this episode, the lads go pool-by-pool rating Connacht’s chance of creating an upset, speculating on what Conor Murray learnt on the Lions tour and deciding is it now or never for Ulster to succeed. As for Leinster, injuries and gelling a new team together could spell trouble, according to our lads anyway.

Then they look at the French challenge, talk about how Johnny Sexton is getting on in Paris before selecting who they think will be picking up the Cup in Cardiff next May.

Don’t forget to get involved with the Heineken Star Predictor ‘Get in The Game’ where you can put your rugby knowledge to the test by predicting the outcome of this weekend’s games. The top prize is a pair of VIP tickets to the 2014 Heineken Cup Final in Cardiff and there are other prizes to be won throughout the season.Click here to start predicting.
