It’s a proud weekend for the parish.

Parcel delivery giants UPS are one of the main sponsors of Ferrari’s F1 team, better known as Scuderia Ferrari, and they recently came up with a great social media campaign that aimed to get the fans involved in this weekend’s Shanghai Grand Prix.

The idea was simple: Post a picture to the UPS page on Facebook and if you were lucky enough to get picked, your picture would feature in a UPS mosaic that will appear on the Ferrari F1 car at this weekend’s Grand Prix.

To be fair to UPS, it’s a great idea as a handful of fans will now be able to say they featured on an F1 car during a real Grand Prix thanks to the company.

However, someone in UPS’s quality control division must have been half asleep when they picked the images that would appear in the mosaic, because someone uploaded a picture of internet meme ‘Dick Butt’ and it managed to get the all clear…

Luckily for UPS, but unfortunately for everyone else, they managed to spot the rude-meme before it was too late and they’ve since changed the image while thanking fans for pointing out the “inappropriate image that was submitted to our special version of the UPS shield”.
