JOE

We did tip the top four to win in our first preview last week at combined odds of just under 4/1 so we hope you had a flutter and won a few quid for the weekend.

What of this weekend’s programme then? Chelsea looked the most impressive team of the opening weekend with a comfortable win away to newly-promoted Burnley (pic below) and this weekend they face another of the new boys in the form of Leicester City, but they are at a fairly unbackable 1/5 to win. They should only be included in an accumulator as your banker.

Burnley v Chelsea - Premier League

So who else should be in that accumulator? There was absolutely nothing impressive about Manchester United last week as they slumbered to a home defeat to Swansea. They are away to Sunderland this weekend and the Mackems look a very generous price of 7/2 to win on home turf.

Southampton looked impressive in defeat to Liverpool (pic below) last weekend and probably deserved at least a draw at Anfield and we think they’ll be too strong at home to West Brom. Shane Long will relish coming up against one of his own clubs and at 17/20, they are going into the accumulator.

Liverpool v Southampton - Premier League

We mentioned Swansea earlier and their confidence will be sky high following their win at Old Trafford and look too strong at home for new boys Burnley. The home win here is available at 4/6 and it’s enough value for us to stick into the accumulator.

So, to sum up, if you were to go with an accumulator for home wins for Chelsea, Sunderland, Southampton and Swansea, you would get very enticing odds of just over 16/1 and that we think is good value.
