Q. So Barry, tell us what BullorBear Leagues is all about?

Q. And how did you come up with the idea for the game
It was a mixture of a few things really. Firstly, I never won against the bookies, but then again, who does? Secondly, when it came to having the craic with my mates, we are all so busy these days it's hard to find time to meet up. And lastly, online social networks is great for keeping you up to date with all that is happening. So we just put all of these together and BullorBear Leagues was born.
But the big thing that all of my friends reacted to straight away was the fact that that taking money off your mates is even sweeter than taking it off a bookie, especially when you can slag them off about it afterwards! We said why not allow friends to come together online and have a group bet on something relevant to them.
We have started with the Premier League, but it will only be a matter of time until we have a host of other sports available.

Q. So the first game is the Premier League but you are planning lots more. Can you tell us anything about this at present?
A. As you said we have started with the Premier League but we will also be running GAA leagues / Rugby leagues and possible even some American sports such as basketball, NFL and baseball. We aim to bring our players as many sports as possible and then let them decide what their league will be based on.
Q. And any other future developments we should know about?
A. Actually yes! We are launching another product in October, which will bring a whole new dimension to social betting with your mates. I cannot go into too much right now, but we will be bringing JOE.ie all the details soon. Lets just say it’s something we are really excited about and definitely one to look out for.
