Dundalk players dominate the candidates here…

The League of Ireland Premier Division will come to a dramatic climax on Friday night when Dundalk host Cork City in a title decider at Oriel Park. The home side need to win the game to clinch the league championship while a draw be enough for City to pick up the title. It’s so finely poised, we cannot wait.

Ahead of the final round of games, the PFAI have announced their Player and Young Player of the Year nominations and Dundalk dominate the lists.

The nominees for the PFAI Player of the Year are: Richie Towell, Patrick Hoban (both Dundalk), Colin Healy (Cork City) and Christy Fagan (St Pats).

The nominees for the PFAI Young Player of the Year are: Daryl Horgan, Sean Gannon (both Dundalk) and Dylan Connolly (Shelbourne).
