No surprise to see that Leicester and Spurs are well represented.
The Premier League is entering its final stages with Spurs hot on the heels of the league leaders, Leicester City. With only four games left to play, just five points separate Ranieri’s men from Pochettino’s side and we’re expecting a few twists and turns before the season ends.
There’s no denying that the two sides have been the standout performers this season and this has been reflected in the PFA Team of the Year.
David de Gea has had plenty of shot-stopping practice this season at Manchester United and the Spaniard has edged out Kasper Schmeichel and Jack Butland to take the ‘keepers gloves.
There’s no place for Robert Huth, Kyle Walker, Christian Fuchs or Danny Simpson in the back-four while Mesut Özil’s omission in midfield is also a talking point. Romelu Lukaku has had a fine season for Everton scoring 18 league goals but the front two really picks itself, Vardy and Kane.
What do you think of this side?
