J-League
There was no real heroics in the upper echelons of the J-League in Gameweek 12, with three of the top five maintaining their positions after a fairly average week overall.
Ciaran Tracey’s Bacuna Mata-ta remain on top ahead of another side that didn’t budge, Allan Johnson’s Comeback Kids, although Alan Keohane’s Toffeekeoks FC did make up some ground in third place.
Crabby Joe’s Spleef Queens stay in fourth place, three points ahead of the biggest mover in Gameweek 12, Bryan Sheehan’s Games of Throw-Ins, who moved well up the ladder after an impressive 78-point haul last time out.

Gameweek 13
It’s not looking good for anyone who was hoping to rely on the Manchester United attack against Watford because a mini injury crisis has left LVG’s men very short of options up front.
Louis van Gaal tells #MUTV Carrick, Martial, Fellaini and Valencia are all injured, while Rooney is ill. All will miss Watford.

Injury has also hit West Ham midfielder Dimitri Payet, who has been transferred out of over 500,000 Fantasy Football teams since Gameweek 12.
On the other hand, Sergio Aguero is available again for Manchester City’s clash with Liverpool and is normally not the type of man who needs time to get back into his stride.
That said, with Romelu Lukaku, Harry Kane and record-seeking Jamie Vardy in such a good run of form at the moment, many managers will resist the urge to turn to Aguero immediately, especially with Lukaku and Kane in action at home to Aston Villa and West Ham respectively.
This week’s picks:
Safe bet: Olivier Giroud (£8.8 million). Didn’t score against Spurs last time out (he should have) but before that he had scored in each of his last three games and he tends to flourish against middle and lower-ranked teams in the league.
With all due respect to them, West Brom, Arsenal’s opponents on Saturday, certainly fall into that category.
Dark horse: Gerard Deulofeu (£6.3 million). Any time the Spaniard starts, he seems to deliver the goods and he has reaped a goal, four assists and 23 points from the last three games alone.
In form and could be well worth a shout at home to Villa on Saturday.
Captain’s choice: Harry Kane (£9.4 million). Spurs’ run of good form has coincided with a run of good form for their main scoring threat. Ahead of the West Ham game, he has five goals and 33 points from his last three league outings.
