A fitting tribute to a Kerry legend.
RTE wrapped up their three part ‘Legacy’ series last night with a look back at the life and times of former Kerry player and manager Páidí Ó Sé, one of the most legendary characters in the history of the GAA.
Páidí’s death at the age of 57 in 2012 rocked not only the GAA community in Ireland but the country as a whole and, nearly three years on, RTE provided a fitting tribute to his memory last night.
Rarely has a programme been so universally well-received as the look at Páidí’s life was and numerous people, including a number of high-profile GAA figures, queued up to sing the programme’s praises last night.
If you haven’t seen it yet, you can do so here; it’ll be well worth your while.

"He realised the stories didn't have to be true, you could put legs on them". 😂 Brilliant show on Paidi. I love their GAA tradition. #OSe

Always loved the line about the Paidi Westmeath doc that if they'd bleeped out the swearing it would've sounded like an hour of tin whistle
