Hats off to the folks at AIB, they have really made maximum use of their sponsorship of the Club Championship. Arguably the most important GAA competition of the lot, every year it throws up great storylines, great joy, and great sadness for those who didn’t make it all the way. The tag #TheToughest might be one of the most apt in all of Irish sport.
That toughness is epitomised in this short film, shot behind the scenes at the hurling and football semi-finals. Stuffed with brilliant footage from all the games, the best stuff comes from Mount Leinster Rangers, the fairytale story of this year’s competition.
The desire before throw-in and the joy afterwards is clear for all to see and we hope the cameras are in place to capture the inevitable drama that will unfold on Monday week too.
