Lugging that speaker to France was so worth it.

It may belong to Northern Ireland (or Wigan) fans, but the Irish version, 'Shane Long's on fire', has unquestionably become one of the freshest jams in the Irish fans' sing-along repertoire. The original song, 'Freed From Desire' by Italian singer Gala, was a 1996 Euro hit. We've heard many, many renditions of the Shane Long version from Irish fans in France but the endeavour by one man won in La Rochelle (where many of the Irish are stopped over before journeying to Bordeaux) to lug a large speaker to the party so he could blast out the Gala original has to be commended.
