World Cup

This is one raffle that’s going to prove very popular.

There are less than two weeks to go now until Ireland face Denmark in the Aviva Stadium for the second-leg of a crucial World Cup play-off.

Hopefully, on Tuesday 14 November, Martin O’Neill’s boys will still be in contention for heading to Russia and you could grab yourself two golden tickets for the game.

Why? Because Irish international comedy promoter, Stephen Garland, is on his own mission to head to Russia.

Garland is raising much-needed funds to go to Russia on 20 November for life-altering stem cell therapy to stop his Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis (PPMS).

The comedian has already had some great campaigns to fund his trip which has included the raffling of All Ireland Football tickets to Cake Sales to Jason Byrne and Eddie Izzard holding special fundraising gigs.

So far, Garland has raised half of the €70,000 required for his treatment and in order to raise the other €35,000, he needed something special.

That’s when John Delaney and the FAI stepped in and they have given Garland two pairs of premium tickets to be raffled off for Ireland’s crunch home World Cup play-off game.

In order to be in with the chance of winning these coveted tickets, here’s what you have to do…

You buy your ticket for the raffle and you can get a single one for €10 or you can get six for €50. All names will be included in an Excel sheet and each ticket holder will have their own number.

Online sales will close at 6pm on Sunday, 12 November and the draw will take place shortly after that on the same day and will be broadcast on Facebook Live.

Two numbers will be drawn and both numbers will receive two pairs of premium tickets which will be available for collection on 13 November (the day before the game).
