This will be music to a lot of people’s ears.
It has almost been a week now since the draw was made for the World Cup Play-offs and the countdown is now on to our first meeting with Denmark over in Copenhagen.
If you’ve already gotten tickets to the first game, it might be no harm to have a read of this guide to Denmark’s capital.
And if you haven’t got tickets yet for the first leg, you could just be in luck.
The Football Association of Ireland (FAI) has announced on Saturday that extra tickets have been secured for the first leg play-off between Ireland and the Danes.
The FAI announced the news on their website and confirmed that 2,305 tickets in total had been secured for the first game in Copenhagen on November 11.

An extra 445 tickets were secured by the FAI, which adds to the 5% allocation which is permitted to visiting teams for competitive games per FIFA rules.
Applications for the game in Copenhagen’s Parken Stadium must be submitted by 5pm on Monday, October 23 via their FAI Away Fans Ticket Portal.
Applying for the tickets to the away match couldn’t be any simpler.
All you have to do is log in or create an account on the portal and once that is done, you create an application for the away tickets to Denmark.
If your application is successful, you then make a payment and if all that goes to plan, your tickets will be dispatched on receipt of payment, provided all travel and accommodation details have been submitted.
The first game will kick off in Denmark at 7:45pm Irish time before the Boys in Green return to the Aviva Stadium three days later to play the home game on November 14, which is also at 7.45pm.
Great news to get on such a miserable Saturday.
