Tiger Woods emphatically turns down special request from Jason Dufner

It was all tongue-in-cheek, but Tiger Woods was having none of it from his fellow American after he made a special request to reschedule Woods’ upcoming tournament.

The World Challenge, a holiday tournament put on by Woods at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, gets underway this weekend, which poses a bit of a problem for Dufner. The 2013 PGA Championship winner is a huge fan of Auburn athletics, as he attended the school and was a walk-on on the golf team. He is also a keen follower of the football team, who are playing the SEC Championship this Saturday against Missouri. The only problem here is that Dufner is scheduled to play Saturday in the World Challenge, which led him to cheekily ask for a re-arrangement of the tournament, which was flatly denied. dufner
