You have to love the Sunday gossip, it’s just meatier than any other day. Today’s is no exception with talk 0f Mehdi Benatia flying to England to discuss a move to Manchester United.
The fact that Tyler Blackett started in a three-man defence for Louis van Gaal’s side yesterday speaks volumes about how badly United need to replace Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, and they don’t come much better than the Roma centre-half.

Samuel Eto’o wants to move to Arsenal
He quite likes it in London, does the former Chelsea striker, and with that in mind The Sun report that the 33-year-old Cameroonian wants to join Arsene Wenger’s side post-haste.
Eto’o has also been linked with Liverpool, but only as a last resort if Brendan Rodgers fails to sign any of Radamel Falcao, Edinson Cavani or Wilfried Bony before the September 1st deadline.
Another line from The Sun, meanwhile, states that Spurs are offering Michael Dawson to QPR in partial exchange for Loic Remy. Will ‘Arry bite?
