Our hearts go out to Arsenal supporters at this difficult time.
The last week or so has been pretty good from an Arsenal fan’s perspective.
Victory over Olympiacos in midweek ensured that they qualified for the knockout Champions League for a 17th successive season despite a disastrous start to the group.
They went top of the Premier League yesterday after a comfortable victory over Aston Villa. Times were good.
Then they only drew Barcelona in the draw for the last 16 of the Champions League this morning.
There’s nothing to say that Arsenal can’t stop Messi, Suarez, Neymar and company and go on and win over two legs, but the reaction to the draw on Twitter would suggest that most people believe that such a prospect is highly unlikely.
All the more reason to prove them wrong Arsene.
Barcelona.
Of course it is.
Just when I dare to hope & feel positive again, we draw bloody Barcelona.
I don't know why I bother.#afc #UCL— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) December 14, 2015

1 – Arsenal have won only one of their seven Champions League games against Barcelona. Predictable.
