A decent draw for Martin O'Neill's men.
Ireland have done their Euro 2016 preparations no harm with a 1-1 draw against The Netherlands at the Aviva Stadium.
Southampton striker Shane Long opened the scoring on the half hour mark - a tap-in front close range - with Martin O'Neill's side dealing with the 2010 World Cup finalists relatively well throughout the match.
That was until the 85th minute, when Dutch substitute Luuk De Jong equalised courtesy of a well-placed header.
The Boys in Green will face Belarus on Tuesday at Turner's Cross in Cork in their last friendly before the European Championships begin.
