TWEETS: The best reaction to Ireland's draw with Wales at the Aviva Stadium
What an absorbing game.
Ireland and Wales have finished 16-16 at the Aviva Stadium in the opening round of the Six Nations today.
The first half was frantic with the scores level at 13 points a piece at the break while the second half was tighter with defences very much on top.
A monster penalty from Johnny Sexton cancelled out a Rhys Preistland kick to level the game late on and it ran out to finish all square.
Unfortunately, that means no Grand Slam or Triple Crown for either side.
Here's how Twitter reacted.
Can't breathe as I see the last few secs, tense isn't the word #nerves #IREvWAL

Only way this can get more dramatic would be if the ghost of David Bowie goes for a last minute drop goal#IREvWAL #SixNations

The standard of play in the 6 Nations this weekend has been poor. Passion without class. And neither team deserved a win today #IREvWAL

Although it's not a great result the teams were very well matched today and both played with a lot of heart in fairness #IREvWAL

Unconvincing wins for France and England yesterday and now a draw between #IREvWAL this #6Nations could be as tight as last year

Lots of superb performances for Ireland; Earls and Trimble, all four backrowers, McGrath. Extra debuts points for CJ #SixNations
