Liverpool are through to the last eight.
Liverpool are through to the quarter-finals of the Europa League after a convincing 3-1 aggregate win over Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Going in to the second leg, Liverpool had a commanding 2-0 advantage, which United halved when Anthony Martial won and converted a penalty.
In what was an end-to-end first half, Philippe Coutinho effectively put the whole tie to bed in the last kick of the half with an exquisite finish over David De Gea.
Here’s all the reaction…

Manchester is just something you pass through to get to Liverpool. A corridor county. The Belgium of the North West. #MUFCvLFC

A strangely static De Gea allows Dustin Hoffman to skip passed him and swing the tie in Liverpool's favour. pic.twitter.com/pDkE6WgbD6

Once again I ponder that most Premier League forwards really would be better off using their skills elsewhere. pic.twitter.com/DJ49l9v5qb

LVG bringing on defenders to protect the 2 goal lead! Don't think he's realised it's not actually UTD with that 2 goal lead #MUFCvLFC #fraud

Analysing #MUFC this season i’m struggling to see what their fbacks are supposed to do. Stay at home then counter, or attack first? Problem.

Desperate for goals subs are two full backs and an ageing midfielder whose clearly not fit…. and Fellaini plays the full 90 once again

I've never ever seen a player use his elbows as much as Fellaini.

Huge goal by #lfc, away goal. Poor defending by Varela, turned inside out by Coutinho. Great skill, lifted in over De Gea. 1-1 h-t.

In my opinion, LVG has lost touch with modern football. Toothless tactics.#MUFCvLFC
