That’s right, Mario Balotelli.
The Italian picked a fantastic time to net his first Premier League goal, hitting the net in the 83rd minute to seal a 3-2 win for the Reds after what really was a cracking clash at Anfield.
Given that his experience at Anfield prior to tonight had been such a miserable one, the Twitter machine naturally went into overdrive when he did hit the net.
Balotelli has scored his first Premier League goal for Liverpool. Looked ecstatic too.

Great celebration from Mario Balotelli, as he reveals a t-shirt showing his support for the trapped Chilean miners. #LIVTOT

Mario Balotelli pulls off his gloves & walks straight off the pitch at FT without a glimmer of emotion. What a curious chap he is …

Yes, I decided to let Mario Balotelli finally score and no, it won't be happening again anytime soon. #LFCvsTOT
