They were humbled, they came back, and then they were humbled again by the last kick of the game.
The post-Brian O’Driscoll era did not get off to the brightest of starts for Matt O’Connor and Leinster, as they failed to scrape past the Glasgow Warriors at the Scotstoun Stadium.
Leinster were three tries to nil down at the break, and trailing by 11 points going into the final ten minutes, before Jack McGrath and Tom Denton managed to save their blushes and inch them into a one-point lead going into the final moments.
However, a Stuart Hogg penalty stole the win for the home side in the final seconds.
@wyldsson Leinster squad players not good enough, Glasgow offered them a chance back into it, they didn’t create their own chances

Woulda been a joke if Leinster won that, pure dirt for 70 mins. When’s Johnny back again?? #Pro12onSky

Glasgow manage to totally lose their marbles at the end and still win the game with the last kick.

Three tries to nil in the first half. Leinster haven’t conceded three tries in the first half of a match since Methuselah was a bairn.

Leinster 19-0 down and even Cian Healy falling off a tackle. Not a great start to the season.
