Ireland off to a flyer.
The result was widely expected but Joe Schmidt’s side gave an accomplished display in their Rugby World Cup opener against Canada today.
There were seven tries from seven different players, with Seán Cronin, Rob Kearney and Jared Payne adding to first half tries from Seán O’Brien, Iain henderson, Johnny Sexton and Dave Kearney to give Ireland a very comfortable 50-7 victory.
