The Donegal Denis Irwin indeed.
Everton have had an up-and-down season under Ronald Koeman so far, but there’s no doubt that Seamus Coleman is in the form of his life in the Toffees’ right-back slot.
The Ireland captain was immense in the 2-1 win over Arsenal, scoring the equaliser and rampaging at will as Ashley Williams sealed the biggest win of the season at Goodison Park.
Everton fans won’t want to know about it, but surely a bid from one of the Manchester clubs – who could both do with Coleman in their side – is not far away.

We’ll give the last word to JOE editor and unapologetic Everton fan Paddy McKenna, who’s currently partying like a Ted Crilly Vegas daydream.
I wonder who Everton fans reckon was tonight's MOTM? #EVEARS pic.twitter.com/CYXrNU3RVy
