One man’s solo dance of joy at Welford Road on Saturday was a wonder to behold. Now he is in line for some sweet goodies from one of the Ulster players.

If you didn’t see Ulster’s superb 22-19 win away to Leicester on Saturday you missed one solitary Ulster fan giving it socks in the stands midway through the second half.

His one man show of defiance drew a lot of comment on Twitter and a search was launched to find out who he was. Leading the charge was one of the Ulster players, Paddy McAllister.

McAllister asked for Twitter’s help to find the mystery fan as he wanted to reward him with some Ulster gear and this morning, the prop made contact with David Mercer.

We’re not sure what David is getting as his reward, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for him at future Ulster games.
