He’s really giving it a go.
Usain Bolt may well go down in history as one of the best athletes of all time.
He has smashed every record that he had already broken himself and is still the fastest man of all time, over 100 metres.
But he’s not happy leaving it at that. Not by a long shot.
Bolt is trying his hand at becoming a professional footballer.
He has previously trained for Borrusia Dortmund, and also played in a charity game earlier this year. Up front alongside Robbie Keane, no less.
He was … not great.
But that doesn’t matter. He’s giving it a go.
And on Friday, he made his debut for Australian side Central Coast Mariners.
Bolt came on as a substitute in a 6-1 win, which he, unfortunately, didn’t score in.
Result aside, the crowd were absolutely buzzing to see him come in. Have a look at him coming off the bench, rocking the number 95 jersey, paying homage to the 9.5 seconds he ran 100 metres in.

Emotional stuff. He’s clearly chuffed to be there.
He nearly had a dream start as well. His first touch included him making a gorgeous run, that, with a better pass, may have left him one on one with the keeper.
The pass wasn’t great though, nor was the touch.
This was @usainbolt's first touch in a @CCMariners jersey.

We wish him the best of luck. Football ability aside, nobody is catching him if he gets a run at the defence…
