Sadly, YouTube didn't exist when Diego Maradona was playing, so who knows how many moments of genius were never committed to film. But now a YouTuber called HeilRJ03 has put together six minutes of rare Diego Maradona clips that is pure football porn.
Featuring lots of clips from his Boca days, as well as a decent sprinkling from international and Napoli games, we had never seen most of these before. And the compilation reminds you just how great a player Maradona was.
His balance is ridiculous, his speed with the ball at his feet is phenomenal and his ability to change direction and slice past defenders is unlike anyone currently playing today. Oh yeah, and his touch and strength are out of this world too.
Our favourite moment is a goal he is involved in for Napoli which is just laugh-out-loud brilliant. Check it out at 2.55 but there isn't a dud moment in this clip.
