Video: A simple but quite brilliant rugby prank in an Irish schoolyard

This approach at the scrum will be frowned upon if the Lions try it against the Wallabies tomorrow, but it would certainly provide no end of entertainment for the crowd at the Suncorp Stadium.

Unfortunately we don’t know an awful lot about the geniuses involved in this schoolyard prank (if anyone does, feel free to contact us and let us know) but they deserve plenty of kudos for the textbook execution of a rugby prank that might not be original, but it never gets old.

The video was sent to and subsequently re-tweeted by RTE’s Michael Corcoran and having included Munster’s Denis Hurley, Sky pundit Will Greenwood, former Meath footballer Ollie Murphy and Samoan rugby player Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu in the post, it looks bound to get exposure to a far wider audience than it has to date and doesn’t it deserve it.

Great stuff lads.
