Some people wouldn’t be a fan of his punditry, but Alan Shearer remains one of the best strikers in the history of the Premier League, with nobody yet matching the 260 goals he scored during spells with Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United.
Shearer might have put on a little conditioning since retirement, but he’s still well able to strike a ball as well as he used to, as he showed in a video captured by his son Will in a video posted to Twitter earlier today.

Good to see Big Al is using the trademark one hand in the air celebration, although, if we’re being a little picky, he should have really topped it off with a big belly flop into the pool afterwards.
