Video: A weak challenge from the Aussies in the International Rules Series? Colm Boyle might disagree

The Indigenous All Stars might have put in a tame effort over both Tests on the International Series, but Colm Boyle will testify that they not everything they did was half-hearted.

The Indigenous All Stars might have put in a tame effort over both Tests on the International Series, but Colm Boyle will testify that they not everything they did was half-hearted.

Paul Earley’s men had expected the Aussies to come at them with everything they had in an effort to make the Series competitive in Croke Park, but apart from a few skirmishes at the very start, Ireland bossed proceedings to run out very comfortable 79 points winners on the night to lift the Cormac McAnallen trophy on an aggregate scoreline of 173-72.

Colm Boyle however might be feeling a little groggy after his participation in the game was ended with this very high Australian challenge.

The last few Series have seen these types of challenges become less of a common sight, but it was about as much as the tourists could muster on the night as they were outplayed by a fantastic team performance from the Irish side.

Thankfully the Mayo man was able to join in for the post-match celebrations, possibly a little shaken and stirred.
