The AFL season is down to the post-season Finals, and the standard goes up even higher. Over the weekend, Port Adelaide displayed their Grand Final credentials, destroying Richmond by 57 points but it could have been worse as the Power led by 69 at half-time.
In the middle of all the one-way traffic, a Richmond player named Nathan Foley accidentally ran into an opponent's knee and split his nose open. Of course, he played on and by the time the officials spotted him he was drenched in his own blood.
It wasn't a pretty sight.
