It was a cracking night in Rearden’s as Jerry Flannery, Fergus McFadden and Steven Archer chewed over the difficulties of retaining the Heineken Cup, Jerry’s choice of t-shirt and what rooming with Peter Clohessy is like.

If you were lucky enough to be in Rearden’s in Cork last night for the JOE Rugby Roadshow then you should have had a belting night. In front of a packed house of rugby fanatics, Jerry Flannery, Fergus McFadden and Steven Archer dished out some top class rugby analysis before they fielded questions from the floor and from Twitter.

The lads were wary of the threats Toulon will pose to Munster in their semi-final clash on Sunday afternoon but they didn’t rule out an away win for the men in red, a prediction that was pretty popular with the Cork crowd.

Saracens, despite a bit of love from Jerry, were deemed to be onto a loser against Clermont in the other semi, while the great BOD/ROG debate also got another airing.

Then we got into some inevitable slagging between the Jerry and Fergus (yes, the Amlin gets a mention), Jerry’s Irish language skills and a few near-misses on the way to games.
