The Kilkenny manager just loves to see Leinster teams do well…

Brian Cody is one of the most intense characters in gaelic games and it’s very rare you get a glimpse of anything other than the serious manager we see on the sideline except when the Cats are winning All Ireland Finals.

Cody is a big student of the game and when Kilkenny aren’t playing or training, he’s all over the country following the progress of their potential rivals.

He was doing just that in Nowlan Park on Saturday for Wexford’s win over Waterford in the All Ireland Hurling Qualifiers. By complete chance, a fan in the stadium caught Cody’s reaction just after the match and it’s just hilarious.

The camerman was panning around the ground after the final whistle when a hysterical Brian Cody appeared on the screen. The part we love about the video clip is that the person kept panning and then realised it was actually Cody and instantly panned back.

Who would have thought Cody would enjoy Wexford’s success so much, what a great smile…
