Video: Angry Serbian basketball coach grabs his player aggressively by the throat during game
We know of a few managers with a fairly confrontational management style, but this is taking things a step too far.
We don’t know much about Serbian basketball coach Duško Vujošević or the methods he likes to employ, but we don’t think we’d fancy playing under him too much after what he did to a highly-rated up and comer during a game yesterday.
22-year old Bogdan Bogdanović, fancied to be a second-round pick in the NBA draft this year, committed a personal foul and a technical foul in the space of a few minutes while playing for KK Partizan against Belgrade rivals FMP, something which did not impress his coach one bit.
Rather than issue a few stern words or give him a clip around the ear, however, Vujošević grabbed Bogdanović by the throat and pushed him away rather aggressively, actions that did not go down well with either Bogdanović or, we’d imagine, anyone else who witnessed it.
Not exactly sending the best message, is it?
