It’s getting hot in here…

A lot of inter-county stars are currently enjoying the off-season at the moment (although some of them will have already started the bones of pre-season training… and we’re only in November) but last night we were given an excellent insight into what it takes to compete at the top level of the GAA these days.

The documentary ‘Skin in the Game’ aired on RTE One last night and earned plenty of acclaim on the Twittersphere as viewers tuned in to see the commitment and sacrifice put in by Tipperary hurler Lar Corbett, Cork footballer Eoin Cadogan, Dublin hurler Mikey Carton and Cork camogie player Anna Geary throughout the course of the GAA season.

Cadogan’s Daniel Craig impersonation earned plenty of admiration from the ladies, but equally as appealing from the lads’ point of view was Anna Geary’s bikram yoga session (see above)… purely because we were so impressed with the techniques on display of course.

Apart from that, other highlights included Lar Corbett talking about the system he and his mother have in place for washing his gear and the two incredible pieces of skill below by Donal Óg Cusack and Corbett himself, the latter of which didn’t even make the cut.

Congratulations to all involved on a great show.
