OK, we know that Ireland have a snowball’s chance in the pits of Hell of getting Harry Kane to switch allegiance from England to Ireland, but hopefully Roy Hodgson hasn’t noticed that the young Tottenham striker is in red hot form.
Kane scored both goals in Spurs’ 2-1 win over Arsenal in today’s North London derby and Wenger said that the 21-year-old – whose father Pat is from Galway – will be in demand from other countries if Hodgson doesn’t pick him.
