Video: Barack Obama calls Clint Dempsey and Tim Howard to thank them for their World Cup performance

The busiest man in the world (we assume so anyway) takes some time out to call the USA's two star players in Brazil.

By now you will have seen how US President Barack Obama made time in his schedule to watch all of USA's games in the World Cup. Shots of him watching the USA Germany game on Airforce One went viral at the time and he also posted one or two video messages of support for Klinsi's boys before each game.

The more cynical among you may think that Obama was just riding the wave of support the USA team has received but he does seem to be a genuine fan and he took time out of his day yesterday to speak to Clint Dempsey and Tim Howard over the phone from the Oval Office. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNK93KpHaJg If Offaly ever win another All Ireland we're sure he'll do the same...
