As good a non goal as you’ll ever see.
Last night Barcelona beat Real Sociedad 4-1 and to be honest, it was a pretty comfortable win.
It was 3-0 after 23 minutes thanks to goals from Nemar, Messi (of course) and Busquets but a passage of play after 35 minutes was the highlight and it wasn’t even a goal.
A dazzling piece of interplay between Messi, Xavi and Iniesta on the edge of the Sociedad box, involving two back heels, was a joy to behold before Iniesta eventually releases Neymar, who bamboozles a defender before slipping the ball across the box.
Then, almost unbelievably, Messi balls’s up the shot on goal, robbing us of one of the great Barca goals.
