So, so good.
As we write this Barcelona are in the process of handing out a beating to Celta Vigo. 2-0 at half-time, it could well be many, many more as Lionel Messi (who has already scored one) looks dangerous every time he gets the ball.
As always, it is the inter-play between the likes of Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and the rest that makes Barcelona such a good team and that sort of understanding doesn’t happen by accident. It takes practice. Okay, loads and loads of talent too, but lots of training helps.
Today, Barcelona’s official YouTube channel uploaded this little clip from a recent training session to show just how they do it. It is only about 30 seconds long but the speed and precision on show in this standard one-touch passing circle is sublime as they notch up 25 passes in about 25 seconds.
