That was quick.
Manchester United made one of the biggest moves of the transfer window this weekend when agreeing a deal with Bayern Munich for Germany’s World Cup-winning captain Bastian Schweinsteiger.
31 next month, Schweinsteiger isn’t getting any younger but he is a proven winner and he still has a lot to offer the Red Devils and United fans have been getting very giddy about his signature.
Having been at Bayern since 1998, leaving the club mustn’t have been an easy decision for Schweinsteiger and so big a deal was it in Germany that his move to England is already the subject of a Beats by Dre ad.
Beats have made quality ads featuring the likes of LeBron James and Serena Williams in the past and this effort, which pays tribute to Schweinsteiger’s qualities as a fighter and a winner and highlights his reputation in eyes of Bayern fans, isn’t half bad either.
And here we were wondering why those headphones were so prominent in Schweinsteiger’s tweet a little earlier today…
