This situation will never, ever materialise in a game, but it’s hard not to be impressed by Ben Brosnan’s free-kick technique nonetheless.
The Wexford forward scored seven points in what ultimately turned out to be a comprehensive defeat to a rampant Dublin side at headquarters, but none of them were as impressive as one he scored from virtually right on the end-line down at the Canal End in the warm-up.
Here’s another angle, via Mark Delaney on Facebook, sent into us by Ben himself…

If we were being cynical we’d ask why Ben was practising frees from that position when he’d actually be kicking them from the 13-metre line in a game, but we’re not cynical so we’d like to applaud Ben for what really was a fabulous effort.

Hat-tip to John Kelly for the heads up on this one
