Video: Bernie Ecclestone’s struggle with a revolving door is one of the funniest things you’ll see today

For a man used to the high speed of Formula One, you’d think he’d be able to deal with an incredibly slow-moving revolving door, but alas, that wasn’t the case.

Ecclestone was in the High Court today over allegations of corrupt payments to a German banker to help facilitate the sale of Formula One but if he thought that interrogation in court was the toughest thing he was going to face he had another thing coming. The 82-year old tried to avoid the glare of the waiting media on his way into court but ended up having to face them again seconds later after doing a 360 degree turn and going right out the entrance he had just went in through. Ecclestone approached the door again but thought better of it, but was then forced to wait outside an adjacent door for what must have been an excruciating ten seconds or so while it was opened from the inside. You know what they say Bernie, when one door closes, another one... actually, best not finish that anecdote under the circumstances. Video via YouTube/speedmonkey Hat-tip: Buzzfeed
